About Us
We are a small home based kennel and breeders of Schnauzers and Kerry Blue Terriers that until recently were based in New Zealand but are now located in Brisbane Australia.
We have been involved in showing Schnauzers since 1996. During this period we have made 7 Standard Schnauzers and 4 Kerry Blue Terriers up to New Zealand Champions and also campaigned a lovely Miniature Schnauzer bitch to gain her title also for K Snook, Schondara Kennels from Christchurch, New Zealand. Since our move we have 2 Dual Champions which means holding both Australian and NZ titles and we are in the process of adding to this list.
During our showing career to date we have taken numerous Group and In Show awards with both the Schnauzers and Kerry Blue's. We also Titled the Youngest Standard Schnauzer in New Zealand - Ch Stowlonga Heir Apparent was sitting on 12 challenges before turning one and the last Qualifying challenge needed was obtained on his first birthday on 23 May 2000.
As we consider Quality is more important than Quantity we only breed when we are wanting to produce another Star for the ring so we concentrate on having no more than 2 litters per year. Because of the careful planning Our Schnauzers and Kerry Blue Terriers are well known for their excellent temperaments and breed type.
We have imported a fabulous Schnauzer bitch from Stallfurt Kennels in England she is everything we wantedas our foundation. She has been given praise by numerous judges including breed specialists on her type including how closely she meets the breed standard and especially her fabulous coat. Courtney's quality can still be seen in her offspring today. We are so proud of what we have achieved with our Schnauzers and have exciting plans for the future.
We are so fortunate to meet Mark and Ian Simpson who gave us 2 amazing Kerry Blues who became our foundation dogs for our Kerry Blue line..Sound Honest dogs with fantastic type and temperament we cannot thank them enough for the path they started us on. We have been been fortunate enough to be granted use of some great stud dogs and imported 2 amazing dogs whose show results speak for themselves and quality show in our upcoming youngsters.
We are pleased to be the first New Zealand Schnauzer breeders to have exported a Schnauzer back to the UK for showing and breeding. The feedback on the quality of "Ellie" is very encouraging and pleasing for us as breeders.

We are the only Kerry Blue Breeders in Australia to have bred 3 USA Champions

Congratulations to our FIRST Aust Ch Regenstauf Blu Iris and then our SECOND MBIG AUST & NZ Ch Regenstauf Talk O' The Town (Lein) in show rings in Australia the brother and sister combo also took DOG and BITCH challenge at the 2007 Sydney Royal.

Our Schnauzers in Australia are doing Extremely Well
Regenstauf Lord of the Rings who as a puppy won the dog challenge at the 2007 Sydney Royal, Best of Breed at the Canberra Royal and that is only the start for this very promising young Schnauzer.
This fabulous young dog has just gained his Aust Ch title!!! Congratulations to Mariette and Mark and of course his handler Georgia
